About the project

MAX is an AMIF-funded project aiming to change public attitudes towards migrants by improving their image in Europe through real-life stories and reshaping the migration narrative. Storytelling, positive media messages, and dialogic encounters between locals and newcomers are central to the project.

Its outputs include research reports on migrants’ social, economic, and cultural impact, an online interactive map collecting success stories, a set of 20 messages to improve public perception, 15 Diversity Dialogue Fora, a Diversity Film Festival on integration, a final conference and cultural evening in Brussels, and the dissemination of stories and messages through the website, social media, and press.
