The SETS project (Social Economy Transition Skills) aims to develop, test and disseminate training programmes and modules to support skills development for the green and digital transition of Social Economy Organisations (SEOs).
SETS will implement six pilot training courses: two re-skilling courses (one in France and one in Slovenia) and four up-skilling courses (two in France and two in Slovenia), involving trainees representative of the final target groups. Developing green and digital skills is essential to supporting an effective transition to a sustainable economy, aligning labour market supply and demand, and helping workers adapt to rapidly changing workplaces. These skills enable a better understanding of the twin green and digital transitions and support the creation of environmentally sustainable products, services and processes.
The project will also prepare future scale-up through an ICT-based impact assessment and management methodology, leveraging additional public and private funding and contributing to EU-level policies on impact-driven education for SEOs. SETS builds on the Blueprint Alliances baSE and B-WISE and aligns with the Pact for Skills for the Proximity and Social Economy.
